The topic of sustainability can be very individual and multi-layered, which is why there is no universal silver bullet. In the context of two new seminars at the Kunststoff-Institut, we would like to present the possibilities and adjusting screws that companies from the plastics industry have to make their products and processes ecologically sustainable.
On 08.09.22 we offer the seminar “Sustainability | Introduction and Basics”, which provides an overview of currently applicable framework conditions and potential levers for sustainable design of products and processes. Building on this or detached from the basic seminar, an in-depth seminar entitled “Sustainability | 4* Expert Knowledge” can be attended at the end of November, which focuses more intensively on the key areas of material (recyclate & bioplastics), recyclate quality, process & energy efficiency and component design.
