Material &
Damage Analysis
Testing We look very closely

Is your component broken, showing surface defects or stress cracks, or does it have elevated emission values? Would you like to know whether this is due to the material, design, processing or application, or do you need more details about a material? Then you’ve come to the right place. Finding solutions to problems in a plastics processing process often requires extensive knowledge of the available analysis methods, their significance, and their limitations. Expertise in a wide range of fields is required, including materials science, process engineering, physics, organic and analytical chemistry, to name but a few.
The point at which a component failure becomes apparent has a significant impact on the associated economic damage. A considerable proportion of damage cases could have been identified and prevented at an early stage of a project. Around two-thirds of reported damage cases are attributable to incorrect material selection, incorrectly assessed requirements, and design errors.
Our team?
A wide range of expertise!
Chemists work hand in hand with process engineers, surface technology specialists, and experts in special processes. We draw on experience that has been gathered, preserved, and continuously updated with new findings over more than two decades. Our well-equipped laboratory is constantly being upgraded with the latest equipment, and all employees are trained in the latest technical developments in manufacturing and analysis.
